| The First Blast - what an experience! |
| A big shout out to Tabindah and Ammar - you guys were awesome! I am so proud of you both - I know you have touched the hearts of many people out there. Kudos to you and a great big Thank you for saying such positive things about the PSA.
For me, this was a new experience and realization about myself. While watching myself on the show - I felt really raw and exposed, because this time I stammered so much more - and the 1st time i was frighteningly fluent. I know I always told myself that it was nothing to be ashamed about - and to a great extent, I know that and believe it ...watching myself stutter on the show made me realize the depth of my love for fluency that i've held on to over the years. This experience, as far from ideal as it may be in my head, I think it was important and necessary in order for me to move that one step forward in truly becoming comfortable with my speech. I think, it's a good thing to put your weaknesses out there sometimes and to accept and show your struggles. It keeps things human and real, I think. Now people will not think I'm cured, but know that I really do have my good dayd and bad days. All I feel right now is gratitude. THANK YOU all for your support and for giving me the courage to move forward. :) I'm humbled and honored to be a part of this awesome group! Julia

i am just started to watch the show suddenly my electricty shuts down due to which i cant watch the show so any1 out there please upload the vedio on you tube so i can watch it n be more brave as after watching the first show.
Thank you so much julia our prayerz are with you even my mom pray for you and whole group.and hats off to you mission.i get courage when first tym watch you on first blast and after dat i try to control to control my stammer and in most occassions i can control my stammer and attain 70% fluency and whive takking there is always a smile on my face thats only becuse of you.thanx and please any1 please upload the whole show on you tube.. |

i never thought that we had an organisation working for such a thing in Pakistan, the interview was really revealing...thank you Julia for sharing and educating us especially me about stammering.Although by ALLAH'a grace i can speak normally but a few times have met people who do. What i liked the most in your interview was when you said that one must be patient while talking to someone who stammers and try not to complete words for them yet keep an eye contact(a positive eye contact). Hats off to you guys may ALLAH ALMIGHTY bless you all.I wish you guys had a platform in Lahore,or if u ever think of having one here,i would love to be a part of this Association and help you guys in any way i can.

Dear Moneeb, It's always heart warming to see folks who don't stammer wanting to sincerely help our cause. It's really admirable and I truly appreciate it. Thank you! We really really want to start a chapter in Lahore and I think it'll happen sooner than later. Hello Julia,how are you? well we can add each other on msn or some other chatting application where we all can interact more... then we have to come up with more ideas to attract more people to the forums. set up a time in a week or so when who so ever can get online should come join us and we all can share our views and also get to know each other... |
