8th Support Group Meeting in Islamabad

The Pakistan Stammering Association held its eighth support group meeting in Islamabad on the 25th of May, 2008. .

Unfortunately we were again short of some people at the last minute but still we had a group of 3 very motivated individuals and the meeting went great.

We went through the meeting plan which was the same as before, and yet again that we combined the theme of the meeting and theme of the previous meeting. The theme of the meeting was "Deep and Breathy Tone". We did our best to follow the theme and had a great time.

Again, there were a few documents distributed among the participants.

I was very much delighted to see much improved speech and confidence in the participants, which is a clear evidence that support from fellow stammerers is very very important in your speech.

I would especially like to thank the Serena Hotel Management for providing us a conference room and refreshments, all free of cost. Thanks to all the staff at the hotel, they were really helpful to us.
